The Orphanage is a movie based on a family of father, mother and son. Laura, the mother, returns to live with her family at the orphanage where she grew up when she was a child, with the intention of creating a welcome home for sick children. Simon, the son, makes a small expedition on the beach and he think he have heard the voice of a child that he can’t see. Since that day he start to play a game that is to go looking for the missing objects, until he disappears one day, so the game must be completed by Laura. She can’t find where her child can be hidden, so she has to “make a trip to the past” in her memories from when she was a girl, to find Simon. With this movie, we’ll know the story of Tomas, a child something strange that will bring some complications…
I have chosen this film because I love horror films, and it is one of my favourites. I think that the story is different, and it has got a lot of intrigue and ithas many moments of fear. I like it also because until the end, we don’t know how will it finish, it isn’t a predictable film. In my opinion, the thing that gives more fear of the movie is the character of Thomas, I hate him.
